Black Friday-related trial to be held in April

Men allegedly involved in illegally processing online gambling payments will go to trial in AprilTwo men accused of illegally processing payments from poker players in the United States will stand trial on April 9, which is sure to be a landmark event in the legal proceedings following the shutdown of several major online poker sites last year. The two men, Chad Elie (age 31) and John Campos (age 57), are facing serious charges that could lead to significant time in jail. The notorious Daniel Tzvetkoff, who ran the payment processing company Intabill and was accused of stealing $100 million from online poker companies while processing payments, will be testifying against the two men after striking a deal with American authorities, presumably to reduce his own 75-year sentence for violating UIGEA.

April will also mark the one-year anniversary of Black Friday.
